As we are but mere, humble, (albeit tirelessly ambitious) Nerdfighters, and have never taken on a project of this nature, we thought it might be a good idea to ask for advice. So we wrote handwritten letters to both John and Hank.
Just before the Thanksgiving holiday, (Nov. 22nd to be precise), The Guide was contacted by Book Wish and we corresponded about The Guide. They said they loved the idea, but they wanted to make sure this was supported by John and Hank.
This changed our goal of getting a bit of advice from the Brothers Green to asking them to get on board. A bit frazzled yet unfalteringly determined, we drafted an email during the last Guide meeting (which all are always welcome to join...please do!) and sent it off with high hopes. We expected to get an answer in the coming weeks.
1 hour and 15 minutes later we received this:

I think that it might help if we posted a summary of what went on in the meeting here, as well as at the ning. What do you guys think?
ReplyDelete@Clive well i definitely think that we should update more often. i don't know that we'll have enough news to post updates every week like on the Ning, but when we have big news or make big decisions we should post here.
