what's the Guide up to, you ask? well, lots of stuff actually. but most interesting to you, we're putting together a super-awesome website! well, mostly Clive is putting together the website. but that's why it's going to be super-awesome!
it's going to be beautiful and make dreams come true! (assuming your dream is to contribute to the Guide. and seriously, whose isn't?)
right now, there's just a lovely placeholder there. you're welcome to go look at it. it is lovely, after all. but i suggest that while you're there you sign up to the mailing list. that way you'll be notified the very second it breaks out of its placeholder cocoon and becomes a beautiful website!

Making Friends

hello everyone!

just thought i'd let everybody in on the news of the Guide joining forces with the Nerdfighters Gazette. why? because they're AWESOME!!!

and let's face it. two awesomes always make a super-mega-awesome. which, if you didn't get that, is precisely what the Guide and the NF Gazette make.

also, our very own staff member, Karolina, will be writing for the Gazette! so look out for that!

and by the way, i'm gonna take this opportunity to say, if you haven't clicked on any of the links below before, DO IT!!! all of them make it easier for you to find out what's the what with the Guide.

Scraggernoodle

behind the scenes of The Guide, the Staff has epic wins and tragic fails. today, i'm gonna share one of each!

first, the win!
we are now listed on Nerdfighteria.org! i feel like part of the family now!
we're also going to be getting a super-cool nerdfighteria.org site addy. but not yet! soon.

and now, the fail. :(
so, imagine if you will, someone climbing up to the tallest mountain and screaming "scraggernoodle" at the top of their lungs. because "scraggernoodle" is made of awesome and is really exciting and they want to share it with everyone! but when all the Nerdfighters in the village below hear "scrggernoodle" echoing from the mountains, they just go, "um... ok," and move on. cuz really, what the hell is "scraggernoodle" anyway? it actually sounds kinda violent. it's probably best if they don't get involved.
and right now, The Guide is "scraggernoodle." a few people have heard us scream out the name, but they don't know what it is! and worse, they're like, "i don't need to be told how to be a Nerdfighter!" and they're right! that would be awful! and we don't want to do that! but The Guide IS made of awesome and IS really exciting and SHOULD be shared with everyone! so now we just gotta figure out how to make sure everyone knows what The Guide is.

and that, boys and girls, is what's the what with The Guide.
